Nancy Phillips

Nancy Phillips has been an avid reader since she got her first library card at age five. But it wasn't until her children were half grown that she decided to try to write a book.

Since then, she has produced over twenty manuscripts, mostly full-length novels with such disparate settings as 19th century Leadville, a Colorado bed and breakfast, a guest observatory (astronomy), an internment camp during World War II, and a woman's tap class. She also wrote and produced a stage play which grew into a musical.

At present she is planning a second novel set in the 1940s.
